Woolly Competition and Feltmaking Workshops 2014
Over on my Facebook page I'm running a competition to win 200g of my beautiful Teeswater X Jacob carded sliver. The question you need to answer, by 7th March 2014 is:
Who discovered that wool felts BECAUSE OF its scale structure?
And no, I'm not accidentally shouting, just trying to make the question clear!
Also, I now have a full list of workshops planned for 2014. These include brand new workshops for 2014, including Trilbies and Bowlers, Advanced Vessels and Sculptural Needlefelt. Workshops will take place in Weardale and Northumberland (plus one in Yorkshire). Brief details can be found below, but check my website for full details.

Feltmaking in the North East
I have finally managed to update my website www.fleecewithaltitude.co.uk. Now I have new sections including 'News' to give information about my open studios, exhibitions and felt courses at other venues in the North East (more to be added soon). I've also managed to add a 'Gallery' of sorts. Still no shop, I'm afraid, but I'm always happy to make to order.
Watch out for the North Pennines Wool Group gansey competition (not just for knitters!), and if you haven't already subscribed why not sign up for the newsletter?
