Dyeing for a change

It's many years since I did any dyeing - I'm very committed to my love of natural sheep shades - but I'd mentioned wanting to dye with horsetail and Phil picked some for me, so I thought I'd better use it!  Anyway I tried a few other things too and, although some of the results are OK(sorry, it's a very dark photo), the experience did nothing to convince me that I was missing out on anything.  (Don't worry, Katie, we'll still be dyeing for the workshop and with more colours!)


Before I go, I seem to remember mentioning wayward poultry in my last post.  One of the aforementioned wayward poultry was even more wayward than I thought.  Just look at what we found wandering round our garden last week!
